Stone Age offers an Athabascan woman before contact and colonization. Facial tattoos were marks when a girl became a woman and is an over 10,000 years old tradition. This tradition was terminated due to boarding schools and colonization. (Allaire). This woman is proudly showing her facial tattoos while covering her breast. She gained the understanding to cover herself and still remain proud.
